The public’s help is being sought in finding a 3-year-old girl who has been missing for three weeks.

Brittney Ann Kraemer was last seen Oct. 31 leaving her mother’s apartment in the 200 block of 16th Street with a family friend, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.

Kraemer’s mother, Agnes Tubig Nabong, had let Felipe Robledo Martinez, her ex-boyfriend, take the girl for an overnight visit in Mexico. When they didn’t return the next day, Nabong sent a telegram to the address but got no response, Robinson said.

Mexican police visited the address, but residents there said they did not know Martinez, Robinson said.

Police believe Martinez and the child are in San Diego or Los Angeles.

Brittney is 3-foot-4 and has brown hair and brown eyes. When she left home, she was wearing a brown jacket, a red shirt and green shoes.

Martinez is in his 20s, weighs about 135 pounds and is 5-foot-7. He has no known local address and is said to “hang out” downtown, Robinson said.

The case is not being handled as a kidnaping because the child went with Martinez willingly, Robinson said.
