The second public hearing on the city’s proposed $17-million civic center complex will be held tonight at City Hall.
LPA Inc. of Irvine, the architectural design firm for the civic center, will make a presentation at the 6:30 p.m. meeting. Afterward, the public will have an opportunity to make comments and suggestions on the project.
The city plans to build an 80,000-square-foot building on 8 acres of land near Crown Valley Parkway and Interstate 5. The city hopes to occupy at least half of the office complex and rent the rest.
The meeting will be a continuation of last month’s public session, said Bob Coffee, principal designer of the project.
“After the presentation, we’ll be answering a lot of the questions that people had from the last meeting,” Coffee said.
