Pee-wee Cheer: MTV, remembering the huge response Pee-wee Herman received at the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards, has picked up Herman’s 1988 prime-time CBS Christmas special for two airings, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. and Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. Joan Rivers, Magic Johnson, Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg and Santa Claus are among the guests on “Pee-wee’s Playhouse Christmas Special.”
