Winners in Poetry Contest

The Teatro Sin Fronteras Council of the San Diego Repertory Theatre has named six winners in its poetry-writing contest in English and Spanish for first- through sixth-graders.

Monica del Rio of Emerson Elementary, Lupita Eddleman of Logan Elementary, Ayzza Camacho of Balboa Elementary, Rocio Carpio of Baker Elementary, Erica Cruz of King Elementary and David Robles of Sherman Elementary will receive five theater tickets each for the opening performance of the Rep’s “A Christmas Carol” on Thursday.

The winners will recite their poems on stage before the performance as part of a pre-show reception.
