A Glendale man whose car collided with another vehicle, killing two people, was being held Monday on suspicion of murder, Los Angeles police said.

Gilborto Cabrera, 32, may have been drunk when his car ran into a vehicle on San Fernando Road near Art Street in Sun Valley about 8 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Cabrera was traveling north on San Fernando Road when his car “crossed the center divider and ran head-on into a southbound vehicle, killing both occupants” of the other vehicle, Sgt. Ben Lee said.
