An all University of San Diego singles final and all San Diego State doubles final will highlight today’s San Diego All-College tournament, beginning with the singles final at 11 a.m, where third-seeded Fredrik Axsater, a 6-3, 6-3 winner over fifth-seeded Michael Sass of SDSU, meets freshman Ignacio Martinez, a 7-6, 6-4 victor against Aztec Chris Numbers, the eighth-seeded player. Third-seeded Numbers and Chris Belloli will meet second-seeded Kerry Safdie and Joe McDonough in doubles at 12:30.

BASEBALL

Jim Dietz, SDSU baseball coach, announced the Aztecs have signed three players to national letters of intent. Catcher Jason Kendall (6-2, 180) of Torrance batted .477 last year with 49 RBIs and four homers with a .953 slugging percentage; second baseman Jeff DaVanon (5-10, 160) of Ballaire, Tex., batted .423 and was successful on 28 of 29 stolen base attempts for the No. 3 team in the nation; right-handed pitcher Joe Jacobsen (6-3, 225) of Fresno City College compiled a 3-1 record with a 3.54 ERA.
