Mission Hills Bar Owner Shot to Death
Los Angeles homicide detectives were investigating the slaying of a Mission Hills bar owner who was shot in his establishment Friday evening, officials said Saturday.
Two men walked into Lencho’s Bar at 15334 San Fernando Mission Blvd. around 7:55 p.m. and confronted the owner, Lorenzo Flores, police said. One of the men shot Flores in the upper torso and fled the establishment with his companion, police said.
Flores was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said there seemed to be no apparent motive for the shooting.
