SANTA PAULA : Man Shot in Hand on Ventura Freeway
A Santa Paula man was shot in the left hand by a man in an adjacent car on the Ventura Freeway near the Balboa Boulevard exit, authorities said Friday.
After the incident at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Ricardo Verduzco, 28, drove himself to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he was treated and released, Los Angeles police said.
“There was some kind of dispute between the drivers,” Detective Joel Price said. The assailant’s car was described as a recent model gray Chevrolet.
