Could Airport Be the Jail Solution?
Regarding a new jail: The county already owns land with adequate parking, isolated enough for no one to play NIMBY, close to both the Harbor and Santa Ana courts, accessible to all freeways. It is SNA, or the old John Wayne Airport terminal.
Put up a false wall, subdivide space, and add toilets. Then build one well-guarded entrance while surrounding the rest of the property with three 17-foot chain-link fences (the middle one being electrically charged, the other two to protect wildlife) with warnings of danger in 57 languages, including Braille.)
I guess my idea is too easy and too cheap, but I wish someone would think about it.
