A federal judge barred the University of Missouri from suspending basketball player Jamal Coleman from school.
A few hours later, Coleman was the second substitute for the Tigers in a 61-44 victory over Illinois.
Coleman pleaded guilty in April to a misdemeanor charge of stealing in an alleged refund scam at the University Bookstore. He and two other students, both bookstore employees, allegedly were involved in the scam in which refund slips were improperly used to collect at least $2,000.
