VENTURA : 2.7 Earthquake Barely Noticed
A small earthquake near Ventura on Tuesday measured 2.7 on the Richter scale, officials said.
No damage or injuries were reported.
The quake was reported at 6:18 a.m. about four miles northwest of Ventura, said Robert Finn, a spokesman for Caltech in Pasadena.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Lt. Kelli McIlvain said no residents called about the temblor.
