In the third-place game:

Orange 2, Edison 2 (Orange wins, 4-2, in shootout)--With 30 seconds left, Edison’s Geof Truitt scored for Edison to give the Chargers a 2-2 tie in overtime. Ramon Vasquez scored the winning goal in a shootout for second-ranked Orange (9-2-2).

At the Foothill Excalibur tournament:

El Toro Wins--In the round-robin championship games, El Toro (13-2) defeated Edison, 2-1, and Simi Valley, 1-0, to win the tournament’s championship sword. El Toro’s Denise Kenyon earned all-tournament honors with teammates DeAvila and Sherri Kaminski, and Edison’s Shellee Stucker and Christine Tyler.
