Wolf Barber, a defensive back at Cal, was arrested Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office at Temple City and booked on a felony charge of bodily injury to spouse, in this case, Barber’s ex-girlfriend, according to police.
Barber, 21, was arraigned Thursday in Alhambra court and posted bail Friday of $50,000 and released. The preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 23.
Barber, of Rosemead, was arrested when he went to the sheriff’s office to file a complaint against his former girlfriend for assault, according to Sgt. Richard Mushinskie. But the girlfriend, unidentified by deputies, had previously filed a complaint against Barber and he was arrested.
