San Diego
A man armed with a 9-millimeter pistol robbed a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise of more than $25 of cash and a five-piece dinner, San Diego police reported Tuesday.
No one was injured in the Monday evening robbery, and no shots were fired at the restaurant on the 2400 block of Broadway in Golden Hill, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
The gunman was described as in his early 20s and carrying a box of chicken.
