2 Hurt as Car Hits Tree in Pre-Motorcade Mishap

WASHINGTON —
A car that was to be used in President Bush’s motorcade Wednesday went out of control and crashed into a tree on the South Lawn of the White House, injuring two people. Witnesses said the car, owned by the White House Communications Agency, was parked in a driveway and sped out of control soon after the engine was turned on.
