Cal State Fullerton 69, Pacific 68--Claudette Jackson made a five-foot jumper with three seconds remaining to give the Titans a victory at Pacific.

The senior forward’s shot, which improved the Titans to 9-9, 4-5 in the conference, marked the 14th lead change of the second half.

San Jose State 78, UC Irvine 64--Irvine was defeated at San Jose by a team that had lost 29 consecutive conference games over three seasons. UCI has lost 11 in a row and is winless in the conference.

In a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s game:

Cal State Dominguez Hills 69, Chapman 56--Dominguez Hills took a 41-27 lead at the half and defeated the Panthers for the third time this season.

Christ College Irvine 85, Cal Baptist 54--Gitte Mejer had 22 points and 15 rebounds for host Christ College (18-3, 6-1).
