Albee Arrest: Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee faces charges of indecent exposure after Miami police said that they found him naked on a beach last month. Albee, who won a Tony for “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?,” was arrested Jan. 19 on a remote strip of beach on Key Biscayne, police said over the weekend. Albee, 63, was taken to jail but was released after signing a promise to appear in court at an unspecified date. If convicted, he could be sentenced to as much as a year in jail.
