8 Are Dead, 20 Missing After 2 Boats Capsize

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico —
Authorities recovered the bodies of eight Dominican boat people Thursday and continued to search for 20 others still missing after two overloaded vessels capsized in heavy seas.
The boats, loaded with 80 people, were headed for Puerto Rico when they capsized early Thursday about five miles off the coast of the Dominican Republic, a U.S. Coast Guard statement said.
