Countywide : Couples to Observe World Marriage Day

Hundreds of couples from throughout the county are expected to gather at Holy Family Church in Orange Sunday to celebrate World Marriage Day and renew their wedding vows.
The interfaith ceremony will be led by Bishop Norman McFarland of the Orange County Diocese.
Couples married longer than 40 years will be acknowledged with a special certificate at the service.
World Marriage Day will be celebrated by couples in every state and in 79 countries with a service reaffirming the importance of commitment to marriage.
The event is sponsored by the Orange County Marriage Encounter and the Office of Family Life of the Orange County Diocese.
The ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Family, 566 Glassell St.
