<i> The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Feb. 3 and Feb. 9: </i>
Glendale
East Colorado Street, 300 block--A church was broken into on Feb. 4 or 5; $330 in cash was taken and extensive damage was done to interior doors.
South Central Avenue, 600 block--A gym locker lock was broken off and $300 in cash was stolen from a wallet Feb. 5 between 9:30 and 11 a.m., and the manager of the gym stated that similar burglaries have occurred 20 times in the last month.
Irving Avenue and San Fernando Road--A purse and contents valued at $90 were snatched from a woman by two thieves on Feb. 6 at 11:15 a.m.
North Brand Boulevard, 500 block--A computer and printer valued at $2,500 were stolen from a business on Feb. 6 between 3 and 6:30 p.m.
Rossmoyne Avenue, 1200 block--Two bicycles and tools with a total value of more than $2,300 were stolen from a garage that had been forced open on Feb. 6 or 7.
North Isabel Street, 600 block--About $15,000 in wool and silk suits, jackets, ties and dress shoes were stolen from an apartment on Feb. 7. The resident told police a friend committed the crime.
South Adams Street, 1300 block--Burglars pried a window of a home open and stole a VCR and a large amount of jewelry of an undetermined value on Feb. 7 between 8:20 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Verdugo Road and Acacia Avenue--A car advertised for sale was stolen at gunpoint by a person pretending to be a potential buyer taking it on a test drive Feb. 7 at 8:30 p.m.
Colorado Street and Central Avenue--A gym bag containing a camera and clothing valued at $1,200 was stolen by two thieves from a man as he used a pay phone on Feb. 7 at 5 p.m.
Altura Avenue, 3200 block--A diamond ring valued at $10,000 and other jewelry and a camera of unknown value were stolen from an apartment on Feb. 7 or 8.
East Garfield Avenue, 600 block--Burglars entered an unlocked apartment window and stole a gun, jewelry and VCR valued at $900 and $100 cash on Feb. 8 between 3:30 and 8:20 p.m.
Atwater
Lakeview Avenue, 2300 block--Sporting goods valued at $1,100 were stolen from a garage on Feb. 5 at 1 a.m.
Cypress Park
Harwood Street, 2200 block--Cameras and equipment valued at $1,575 were stolen from a home on Feb. 2 or 3.
North San Fernando Road, 700 block--Industrial equipment valued at $35,350 was stolen from a garment factory Feb. 6 or 7, after thieves pried open a door and cut a padlock on security doors.
Eagle Rock
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4500 block--A car was stolen at knifepoint on Feb. 4 at 10:10 p.m.
North Avenue 55, 1500 block--Two burglars entered a home under false pretense and then took silverware and credit cards valued at $3,650 on Feb. 5.
Echo Park
Alpine Street and Figueroa Terrace--Three robbers armed with a semiautomatic handgun stole money and jewelry valued at $1,016 before fleeing in the victim’s car on Feb. 3 at 11:15 p.m.
Street, 1300 block--Burglars entered a home through a bathroom window and stole musical equipment, tapes and records valued at $3,100 on Feb. 3 or 4.
Morton Avenue, 1800 block--A robber pointed a gun at a person sitting in a car in a garage and took a wallet and money valued at $2,135 on Feb. 5 at 1:50 p.m.
Glassell Park
Avenue 33 and Carlyle Place--A woman’s purse and contents valued at $310 was stolen at gunpoint on a sidewalk Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Highland Park
Marmion Way and Ellita Place--A purse valued at $75 was robbed at gunpoint from a woman on Feb. 3 at 8 a.m.
Delphi Avenue, 600 block--A TV and video equipment valued at $1,430 were stolen from a home, which was also ransacked, on Feb. 6 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
North Figueroa Street, 5800 block--A thief entered a business on Feb. 6 at 6:45 p.m., punched an employee in the face and then took an airline ticket valued at $300.
York Boulevard, 5100 block--A robber, armed with a revolver, took $65 cash from a person and then shot at the windshield of the victim’s car Feb. 8 at 3:30 a.m.
Los Feliz
Observatory Avenue, 2300 block--A home was ransacked and burglarized Feb. 5 between 1 and 4:15 p.m. and jewelry and precious metals valued at $9,150 were stolen.
Hollywood (West Silver Lake)
Vermont Avenue, 1500 block--A robber hid inside a drugstore until after closing, then tied up employees at gunpoint and took $16,000 from a safe on Feb. 3 at 12:45 a.m.
Coronado Terrace, 1400 block--A robber blocked another vehicle’s way and then reached into the trapped car and grabbed a purse valued at $150 on Feb. 5 at 7 a.m.
Hollywood Boulevard and Vermont Avenue--A purse and wallet valued at $639 were taken from a woman by a thief armed with a handgun on Feb. 8 at 6:45 a.m.
