Countywide : Holiday Closings

Monday is Presidents’ Day. Here’s a rundown of local closings in observance of the holiday: All city offices, except Westminster, will be closed. County, state and federal offices will also be closed.

County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.

County libraries and city libraries in Anaheim and Santa Ana will be closed; Newport Beach city libraries will be open.

Banks and savings and loans will be closed.

All elementary, intermediate and high schools will be closed Presidents’ Day.

Saddleback Valley Unified District schools will be closed from Monday to Wednesday; Laguna Beach Unified schools will resume classes Tuesday; Orange Unified schools also will be closed Friday in observance of Washington’s birthday.

All community colleges will be closed Monday. UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton will also be closed Monday; Chapman University will be open. Mail: There will be no delivery Monday. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes on that day will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.

Trash: There will be regular trash pickup Monday.

Buses: Orange County Transit District buses will run on a regular schedule Monday.

Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours Monday.
