Don’t Neglect Brighter Side of San Diego State
I don’t understand why you devote long, front-page stories to the disastrous San Diego State University men’s basketball team while you relegate the victorious, tied-for-first-place SDSU women’s basketball team to tiny paragraphs hidden in the back pages somewhere. Could it be . . . sexism?
As for the argument that few people follow women’s basketball: Perhaps if you gave the sport the coverage it deserves, more people would become fans. The Aztec women have some of the best won-lost stats of any sports team in the history of San Diego.
Isn’t that front-page news?
