South Pasadena : New Fire Chief Named
The City Council has approved the appointment of a new fire chief, William R. Eisele, who has been with the Fire Department since 1971.
Eisele, 47, has been interim chief since December, when he replaced Bart Carroll, who retired after two years as chief and 29 years with the city.
The appointment went into effect Thursday. Eisele will earn an annual salary of $71,688.
