Caltrans Work Sites Scheduled

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

1. South Gate: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Firestone Boulevard to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; guardrail repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

2. Long Beach: Northbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes from Temple Avenue to Cherry Avenue, plus the Lakewood Boulevard on-ramp and Cherry Avenue off-ramp; 6 to 11 a.m. today; bridge repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

3. Lakewood: Southbound off-ramp at Carson Street; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; landscaping.

4. Pico Rivera: Southbound alternating lanes of the Rose Hills Road and Beverly Boulevard off-ramps; 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday; stenciling.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

5. Commerce: Northbound alternating lanes of the Garfield Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; stenciling.

6. Downey: Northbound off-ramp at Lakewood Boulevard; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

7. Downey: Northbound alternating lanes of the Paramount Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday; stenciling.
