ANAHEIM : Wife Confesses to Stabbing Husband
A woman was arrested after confessing to stabbing her husband shortly after he was found mortally wounded behind a supermarket Sunday night, police said Monday.
Jesus Castillo, 27, was found in an alley behind the Alpha Beta store at 2809 E. Lincoln Ave., at 8:40 p.m., Lt. Ray D. Welch said. He was taken to UCI Medical Center, where he died of multiple stab wounds.
Julia Castillo, 25, contacted investigators and said she and her spouse had been arguing and she stabbed him, Welch said.
She was being held at the Anaheim temporary detention facility and was scheduled to be arraigned today in North County Municipal Court, Sgt. Chet Barry said.
Investigators had not determined the nature of the argument.
“There have been no other reports of domestic disputes between the two,” Barry said.
