ORANGE : Seniors Offered Help With Tax Forms

The Orange Senior Citizens Community Center will offer free tax help to seniors every Tuesday through April 14.
Trained volunteers will assist seniors 60 years and older to prepare their federal and state income tax returns. The free service is provide by Tax Counseling for the Elderly.
The tax aides are trained in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service and must pass an IRS test to be certified. However, the volunteers are trained to assist seniors only with basic tax forms and questions. Individuals requiring more in-depth assistance should seek help from a professional tax preparer.
To make an appointment, call the senior center at (714) 538-9633. The center is at 170 S. Olive St., Orange.
