Story on Abortion Issue Generates Letters on Women’s Right to Choose
- Share via
Lee Ezell takes a cheap shot when suggesting that the pro-choice movement may be behind the Irish teen-ager’s quest to get an abortion. Contrary to what the pro-life movement would have the public believe, pro-choice does not mean pro-abortion but just that: pro-choice.
Should the Irish teen-ager choose to carry her baby to term, I salute her courage; that Lee Ezell’s story had a happy ending is poignant and telling. But in a rational and forward-thinking society, no woman should be forced to bear the child of a sexual assault. Period.
