BRAINPOWER: Laguna Hills and Mission Viejo high schools are two of the nation’s top 140 high schools, says Redbook magazine’s April issue, which hit the newsstands Tuesday. “The schools we chose were really the ones with the absolute most academic muscle,” says Redbook Senior Editor Diane Salvatore. Laguna Hills High Principal Wayne Mickaelian says he’s pleased and proud. “The fact that Mission has been selected too is a real tribute to our Saddleback Valley school district.”
