Century City : St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Century City St. Patrick’s Day Parade, featuring equestrian units, marching bands, drill teams, celebrities and military units from Operation Desert Storm, will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The parade will start in front of the Wells Fargo Bank on Century Park East, near Santa Monica Boulevard. Marchers will proceed west on Little Santa Monica Boulevard, then turn south onto Avenue of the Stars. The parade will end at Galaxy Way.

Century Park East will be blocked off from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Constellation and Santa Monica boulevards. Avenue of the Stars will be blocked from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Traffic officials will periodically permit residents of condominium complexes on Avenue of the Stars to enter and leave while the parade is in progress.

Actor Ned Beatty will serve as grand marshal. The parade will benefit the Foundation for the Junior Blind.
