From Staff and Wire Reports
A New York state woman has filed a complaint in Port St. Lucie, Fla., claiming she was sexually assaulted a year ago by three New York Mets.
The players were not identified in the report, which police received March 3 by a woman who apparently is a seasonal visitor to the team’s spring training home in Port St. Lucie. The police would not say whether the players are currently on the Mets’ roster.
Met General Manager Al Harazin had no comment on the report.
