Three From County Win Heats in Surf Event

Dino Andino and Jim Hogan of San Clemente and Chris Billy of Dana Point were among those who won their third-round heats Saturday and advanced to today’s quarterfinals of the $20,000 Beach Feet Open in Pismo Beach, the second stop on the 1992 Bud Surf Tour.

Also advancing to today’s quarterfinals, by finishing second in their heats, were Shane Beschen and defending champion Mike Parsons of San Clemente, Dan Kennedy of South Laguna, Terrence McNulty of Capistrano Beach and Todd Miller of Costa Mesa.

The semifinals and finals also will be held today.
