BURBANK : Medical Center Names Chief Officer
St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank has named David D. O’Neill as its new chief operating officer, Administrator James E. Sauer said.
O’Neill has 20 years experience as a health care manager, most recently at Providence Hospital in Oakland, where he served as administrator since March, 1989. He assisted that hospital’s merger with Merritt-Peralta Medical Center.
St. Joseph is a 489-bed acute-care hospital with a 149-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation unit. It is the state’s largest Catholic hospital.
