Messenger Robbed of $185 Million in Bonds: A robber stole $185 million in negotiable bonds from a messenger carrying the notes in a Manila envelope, police said. The 64-year-old female messenger, who worked for the firm Goldman, Sachs & Co., was approached by an unidentified suspect who grabbed the envelope and fled, police said. Police couldn’t say what type of bonds were stolen, but said they were untraceable. “They’re like cash,” another police spokesman said.
