The strongest response Peterson can come up with for the immoral, unethical and irresponsible personal spending of tax dollars is that he now realizes that “economic times have changed?” Why? Because he was caught?
Who raised these people? Where were they educated? Were they never taught any sense of decency, of simple right and wrong? Are these the values they are passing on to their own children?
Peterson and his compatriots should be fired and brought up on criminal charges. But they won’t.
And that’s our fault--the cynical, what-else-do-you-expect taxpayers, who live from paycheck to paycheck, too worn down and out of time to demand accountability. Shame on us.
