The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between March 16 and March 22.

Glendale

Grand Central Avenue, 1300 block--A computer valued at $7,094 was stolen from a business between March 12 and 17.

Bayberry Drive, 1900 block--A desktop copier valued at $500 was stolen from an unlocked office between 11 and 11:30 a.m. March 16.

South Brand Boulevard, 1300 block--Two men were arrested after a man reported that he had been robbed of $40 at 2:24 p.m. March 16.

Sonora Avenue, 1200 block--Burglars pried open a window in a home between 1 and 5 p.m. March 17 and stole a bicycle, two CB radios and two watches valued together at $1,000.

West California Avenue, 600 block--A woman reported that an assailant accosted her in a subterranean garage at 4:10 p.m. March 17, robbed her of $80 cash and a watch valued at $300 and then covered her eyes with duct tape and attempted to rape her before she escaped.

Foothill Boulevard, 3900 block--Two men were arrested at 1 a.m. March 17 after police discovered tools used in auto burglaries in their vehicle.

Foothill Boulevard, 3200 block--A bowling alley was evacuated and 11 people were taken to hospitals complaining of nose and throat irritation, headaches and nausea at 4 p.m. March 21 after four or five men reportedly were seen throwing a small cylindrical object into a hallway.

Western Avenue, 1300 block--A man reported that he had been robbed of $440 cash, a camera and his car, valued at $5,500, by a woman whom he had taken home with him on March 20.

Lowell Avenue and Santa Carlotta Street--Two men and a boy were arrested and charged with armed robbery after police found them with two toy guns and $695 at 11:38 p.m. March 20.

Spencer Street and Columbus Avenue--A student reported that four males struck him with a baseball bat and took a bag containing schoolbooks at 4:30 p.m. March 20.

North Isabel Street, 300 block--Burglars entered a second-story apartment window between 1 and 7 p.m. March 20 and stole two TVs and a VCR valued at $600.

Corona Drive, 1300 block--A garage was burglarized March 20 or 21 and two bicycles valued at $600 were stolen.

South Chevy Chase Drive, 200 block--Burglars broke into a church March 20 or 21 and stole a radio, TV and VCR valued at $1,000.

Sinaloa Drive, 1300 block--Two shots were fired at a home between 2:30 and 5 a.m. March 21. No one was injured.

West Loraine Street, 200 block--A young woman reported that she was raped by a school acquaintance at 7:45 p.m. March 21 in the sauna room of her apartment.

East Colorado Boulevard, 600 block--Thieves threw a brick through the window of a market and stole $50 and an undetermined number of cartons of cigarettes at 3:45 a.m. March 22.

East Acacia Avenue, 800 block--A burglar was caught stealing a bicycle and power tools from a garage at 8:25 p.m. March 22 but escaped while the victim was calling police.

East Chevy Chase Drive, 1100 block--A woman reported that two men bumped into her in a market at 1:30 p.m. March 22. Afterward, she noticed her coin purse containing $18 and a $50 money order was missing.

La Canada Flintridge

Hillard Avenue, 4600 block--Furniture, jewelry, a TV, VCR, CD player, computer, printer and watches valued at a total of $11,350 were stolen from a home during the day March 18. A neighbor reported seeing a black or blue van at the home but thought it belonged to cleaning people.

Foothill Boulevard, 1900 block--Burglars pried open the door of a home during the day on March 18 and stole a rifle and a shotgun valued at $1,350.

Altura Place, 2700 block--Two gunmen robbed a man of $150 and his briefcase as he left his car in the driveway of his home at 2:15 p.m. March 16.

Briggs Avenue, 5000 block--A woman reported that 100 gold chains valued at $15,000 and 50 women’s watches valued at $8,750 were stolen from her home between 9 and 11 a.m. March 17.

Fairmont Avenue, 2700 block--A karaoke laser disc player and two telephones valued at a total of $2,400 were stolen from a home between noon and 3 p.m. March 18.

Atwater

Garden Street, 3200 block--A person was followed home at 10:10 p.m. March 16 and robbed at gunpoint of $120 in a driveway.

Landa Street, 2300 block--Tools valued at $1,330 were stolen from a garage March 21 or 22.

Eagle Rock

Colorado Boulevard, 9300 block--Thieves smashed a second-story window of a business March 16 or 17 and took computer equipment valued at $12,000.

Colorado Boulevard, 700 block--The rear window of a business was smashed at 10:30 p.m. March 17 and typewriters, telephones and equipment valued at $1,700 were stolen.

Hartwick Street, 5000 block--Two women who distracted a resident stole more than $3,500 worth of guns and money from a home at noon March 18.

Armadale Avenue, 1400 block--A burglar fled with a camera and equipment valued at $840 after a resident saw him and screamed at 5:20 a.m. March 19.

North Figueroa Street, 7400 block--Computer equipment valued at $7,800 was stolen from a school March 21 or 22.

Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4700 block--A person in a gas station was robbed of $200 at gunpoint at 9 p.m. March 22.

Echo Park

Elysian Park Drive, 1000 block--A person in a park was robbed of $35 at knifepoint at 2 p.m. March 16.

Glendale Boulevard, 1400 block--Two gunmen held up people in a fast-food restaurant at 9:15 p.m. March 16. They took wallets containing $330 from four people.

McDuff Street and Scott Avenue--Two gunmen robbed a pedestrian at 6:30 p.m. March 18 and made off with money and jewelry valued at $700.

Echo Park Avenue, 1300 block--Two men told a security guard in a parking facility that they had an accident, then robbed the guard of his $450 gun at 11 p.m. March 21.

Glassell Park

San Fernando Road, 3100 block--Burglars entered a warehouse, possibly with a key, between March 14 and 16 and stole a TV and appliances valued at $2,300.

North Figueroa Street, 2600 block--Sewing machines valued at $3,500 were stolen from a business March 15 or 16.

Delay and Fletcher drives--A woman was dragged into a tunnel at 9 a.m. March 22 by a man who attempted to rape her. She managed to flee but the assailant got her purse valued at $127.

Highland Park

South Avenue 59, 3300 block--A TV and video equipment valued at $925 were stolen in a home burglary during the day March 17.

Figueroa Street, 4900 block--Two men armed with knives took money and jewelry valued at $11,434 from a person coming out of a park restroom at 4:45 p.m. March 17.

North Figueroa Street, 5900 block--Burglars climbed onto a roof on March 18 or 19, kicked down the ceiling of a jewelry store and stole jewelry valued at $2,100.

North Figueroa Street, 6800 block--Burglars forced open the rear window of a home March 20 between 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. and stole a stereo and money valued together at $1,040.

Marmion Way, 5700 block--An assailant entered a home at 6:45 p.m. March 20 and hit the occupant on the back of the neck with a weapon, then fled with a stereo and video equipment valued at $1,540.

North Figueroa Street, 5100 block--Two robbers entered a market at midnight March 20, grabbed the cashier by the throat and hit the register keys until it opened. They fled with $80.

Ruby Street and Avenue 64--A pedestrian was approached by a man with a rifle, who began yelling and then shot the victim five times in the legs at 4:30 p.m. March 21.

North Avenue 51, 100 block--Burglars pried open the front door of an apartment during the day March 20 and stole video equipment and a stereo valued at $1,661.

North Figueroa Street, 3800 block--Money and video equipment valued at $1,300 were stolen from an apartment during the day March 21.

Los Feliz

Edenhurst Avenue and Dover Street--A woman struggled for her purse containing $75 when two men tried to snatch it at 1:30 p.m. March 18. She gave it up when they pointed a revolver at her.

Waverly Drive, 2900 block--Paintings and luggage valued at $4,600 were stolen from a home after burglars smashed a window between 9:40 and 11:45 a.m. March 19.

Colony Circle, 3200 block--A burglar entered a home through an unlocked rear door, stole $66 and then fled in the victim’s vehicle at 12:30 a.m. March 20.

North Vermont Avenue, 1600 block--A store employee was struck in the head by an assailant who then stole $15,000 cash and fled at 11:20 a.m. on March 22.

Kenmore Avenue, 1400 block--A burglar pulled the iron bars off the window of a home at 6:30 a.m. March 20, then hit the resident with a hammer.

North Vermont Avenue, 1600 block--Three young men stole $60 worth of beer from a market at 10:20 p.m. March 18. They hit a person who pursued them, brandished a handgun and then fled in a vehicle.

Hillhurst Avenue, 2000 block--Thieves pried open the door of a market March 17 or 18 and removed a safe containing $11,000.

North Alexandria Avenue, 1500 block--A woman in a parking facility was robbed on March 18 of a purse and jewelry valued at $505.

Mount Washington

Cypress Avenue, 1800 block--A woman was pushed to the ground at 5:50 p.m. March 20 and robbed of her purse containing $117.

Silver Lake

Fountain Avenue, 4600 block--Prescription drugs valued at $500 were stolen from a medical facility between March 13 and 17.

Talmadge Street, 1700 block--Thieves forced open a rear door of an apartment between 9 and 11 a.m. March 16 and stole a stereo and jewelry valued at $2,310.

Avocado Street and Commonwealth Avenue--A purse containing $60 was taken at gunpoint from a pedestrian at 5:40 p.m. March 18.
