Authorities said Friday they have obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect in the March 19 fatal shooting of 21-year-old Manuel Albis of Oxnard.
Oxnard police are looking for Robert B. Truitt, 19, who is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Truitt has avoided police after agreeing to give himself up, police said.
Albis died of gunshot wounds at St. John’s Regional Medical Center after being shot at 6 p.m. in front of the Dorija Market on East Channel Islands Boulevard, police said.
Anyone with information about Truitt is asked to contact Detective Dan Christian or Detective Tim Combs at 984-4749 or 486-4311.
