BREA : Teen Driver Dies as Car Slams Into Tree
A 18-year-old woman was killed early Friday morning when her car slammed into a tree in the rain, police said.
Paula Jean Edwards of Fullerton was driving south on Berry Street at about 2 a.m. when her car ran off the road north of Central Avenue and into the tree, police said.
Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene, Brea Police Lt. Jim Winder said.
