Woman Walking Dog Discovers Body
A Woodland Hills woman walking her dog Sunday morning discovered the body of a 31-year-old man who apparently had been shot to death shortly after midnight, Los Angeles police said.
The woman found the body at 8:45 a.m. in a grassy area off the 22700 block of Mulholland Drive near Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Detective Rick Swanston said.
The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
Residents in the area had reported hearing several gunshots shortly after midnight, Swanston said.
Police have no motive for the shooting, he said.
