REALLY BIG SHOWS: Get out the binoculars. Following a year in which there was a dearth of stadium-size rock tours in the United States, this summer is shaping up as a big one for b-i-g venues. Already scheduled is Genesis (including Dodger Stadium on June 18), and details are being set for tours by U2 (the group is already playing the Los Angeles Sports Arena this month but may be coming back to town later at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum), the Cure (planned for the Rose Bowl) and a co-headlining tour of Eric Clapton and Elton John (probably either Dodger Stadium or the Rose Bowl). And talk continues about what would almost certainly be the biggest tour of the year: a pairing of Guns N’ Roses and Metallica.
