Suspect Held in Seal Beach Killing
SEAL BEACH —
A 27-year-old man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of strangling a Leisure World resident in February.
Duane Stanley Mesaeh, a transient, was arrested by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in West Hollywood on a homicide warrant in the Feb. 27 death of Thomas D. Turner, Seal Beach Police Sgt. Michael Vasquez said.
Mesaeh was turned over to Seal Beach police and interviewed about the death of Turner, 66, who was found inside his apartment at 1660 Glenview St.
Police had no information on the suspected motive.
