A Life Devoted to Freedom or Folly?

Americans, Cuban or not, should take a long, hard look at the meaning behind the lifelong actions of a man like Tony Cuesta (“The Return of an Old Cold Warrior,” March 22).

While other fat cats talk a good talk when it comes to ending oppressive regimes in other countries, Cuesta has literally dedicated his life to the liberation of his homeland.

Whether or not one agrees with his tactics, one must admire his heartfelt belief that Cuba can one day be free.
