SHERMAN OAKS : Blaze Destroys Dry-Cleaning Shop
A fire destroyed a dry-cleaning business in Sherman Oaks early Monday before Los Angeles firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, officials said.
The cause of the fire at Norge Cleaners of Sherman Oaks in the 13800 block of Ventura Boulevard was still under investigation Monday, Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said.
He said the one-story building was destroyed by the fire, which started about 1 a.m. The fire caused $95,000 in damage and was extinguished about 25 minutes after six firetrucks arrived at the scene.
