Stabbing Linked to Racial Incident
A stabbing in North Park Saturday night was apparently the result of a racial altercation, police said.
Mark Flinn, 32, a black, told police he was walking on 30th Street when two Latino men in a car shouted racial epithets at him.
Flinn confronted them and a fight broke out. Flinn said one of the men stabbed him.
Flinn was reported in good condition Sunday after being treated at Mercy Hospital for a two-inch cut to his upper right arm, police said.
