Look Who Had a Baby: Actor John Travolta and actress Kelly Preston are parents for the first time. Their son, Jett, was born Monday at a hospital in Daytona Beach, Fla. But the disco hits that Travolta helped popularize in “Saturday Night Fever” were not blaring in the delivery room. In a joint statement announcing the birth, the couple said, “We took an active part in preparing for the smooth birth by following the method recommended in ‘Dianetics,’ which stresses complete silence during delivery.” Travolta, 38, a longtime Scientologist, and Preston, 29, were married last September in Paris.
