SYLMAR : Bungalow at School Damaged by Fire
An overnight fire engulfed a bungalow containing two classrooms at a Sylmar elementary school, causing an estimated $75,000 in damage but no injuries, fire and school officials said Friday.
The cause of the fire, which broke out about 11:45 p.m. Thursday at Dyer Street School in the 12000 block of Herrick Avenue, remained under investigation by officials of the Los Angeles Unified School District, spokeswoman Diana Munatones said.
