A Tip o’ the Sailor’s Cap for Conner’s Performance

Hat’s off to Dennis Conner. Regardless of what happens in the America’s Cup from here on out, Conner has shown that dedication and determination can beat the odds. With all the money that has been spent on the quest for the Auld Mug, Conner has been able to stand up to the Koch armada, with only one boat and less than a third of the budget.

Once again, Conner has proved that he can buck the odds. I don’t know if he can beat Koch in the defender finals, but one thing you can be sure of: He’ll give him the fight of his life. It’s guys like Conner that give the world a true view of American fighting spirit.
