San Diego : Man Leaps Into Path of Car in Suicide
A San Diego man took his own life Sunday by jumping into the path of a car in North Park area, police said.
The 24-year-old man, whose name was not released by authorities, apparently threw his body in front of a yellow convertible traveling on El Cajon Boulevard after fighting with his girlfriend and his brother, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
The convertible, which was traveling 40 to 45 m.p.h., fled the scene, Robinson said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene about 9 p.m.
