STUDIO CITY : Woman Dies, Man Injured in Blaze

Los Angeles Fire Department officials Monday were investigating an early morning blaze that killed one person and injured another.
Firefighters found the body of an elderly woman after they extinguished the 3:40 a.m. blaze in a house in the 3300 block of Adina Drive in the hills above Studio City, Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis said.
Injured in the fire was James Wooter, 80, who was treated for smoke inhalation and second-degree burns.
Collis estimated the damage at $75,000 to the building and $15,000 to its contents.
