The Ventura Ministers Assn. has six drop-off centers for the donation of canned food and supplies. For information, call 644-3898. The locations are:

Santa Clara Chapel, 1333 Ventura Blvd., Oxnard
United Way of the Greater Los Angeles Area has established a disaster hot line to help collect and distribute food. Call (213) 736-1343.
Catholic Charities of Ventura County needs canned food, supplies and licensed counselors. Call 643-4694.
Food Share of Oxnard is accepting canned food. From Oxnard, call 983-7100, other areas call 647-3944.
The Salvation Army is accepting canned food, clothing and household supplies at locations throughout the county. Call 642-5031.
The American Red Cross has a number for volunteers to help clean up the riot-ravaged area. Call (213) 617-0294.
County Supervisor Vicky Howard is accepting canned food, clothing and household goods at her office at 3855-F Alamo St., Simi Valley. Call 582-8010.
