Fire Damages Stores Near Jimmy Carter’s Home

PLAINS, Ga. —
A fire Wednesday damaged two antiques stores about two blocks from Jimmy Carter’s home, including one owned by Hugh Carter, a cousin of the former President. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
